Ruthie White
Marriage & Family Therapy Intern
My name is Ruthie White, my desire for counseling is deeply rooted in personal experience. As the child of a pastor and Army National Guard chaplain, I witnessed firsthand the unique challenges faced by ministry and military families. These experiences inspired a calling to walk alongside individuals and families navigating the emotional, relational, and spiritual burdens that often accompany vocational ministry and military service.
I earned my bachelor's degree in Justice and Social Ethics with a minor in History from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary before pursuing graduate studies in counseling. My educational path reflects a desire to understand both people and the broader social contexts that shape their lives, while gaining the clinical training necessary to provide effective, compassionate care.
My goal is to provide evidence-based, Christ-centered counseling that helps clients find healing, resilience, and hope. I have a passion for pastors, ministry leaders, military families, and others who have experienced the weight of serving others while carrying their own hidden wounds.
